Q. What is AirPlayMirror Receiver?
A. AirPlayMirror is Receiver Application for mirroring Apple devices like an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac or MacMini to the receiver device.

Q. On which device can i install the AirPlayMirror App?
A. You can install AirPlayMirror App on Android (from Google’s PlayStore), FireTV (from Amazon’s AppStore) and Windows PC (from Microsoft App Store). Receiver Android device can be a phone, tablet or Android TV.

Q. Which devices you can AirPlay from ?
A. You can mirror from iPhone, iPad, iPodTouch, Macbook, iMac, Macmini etc.

Q. Can i mirror AppleTV?
A. No, you cannot mirror AppleTV, as AppleTV box doesn’t support Airplay sending.

Q. Can i try the app before buying the paid app?
A. There are free trial apps (“AirPlayMirror Receiver (Demo)” on all the three stores which work for 15 minutes on each launch. You can use free trial apps before buying the paid app.

Q. Why i can’t see Airplay Receiver on my iPhone/iPad/Mac?
A. Please check if your iPhone/iPad and the Airplay receiver are in same sub-network. If your wifi router supports dual band wifi, please check that Airplay receiver device and iPhone/iPad are in the same band, as some wifi routers do not support Airplay across the two wifi bands.

Q. How can i stop an un-authorised user to share his screen?
A. You can enable password or passcode option in the AirPlayMirror App by going into settings.

Q. Why my AirPlay icon is missing? Why there is no AirPlay icon for Airplay Receiver on my iDevices?
A. Check if your Apple Device supports AirPlay. AirPlay is supported on following iDevices.
iPhone 4S or newer
iPad 2 or newer
iPad mini or newer
iPod Touch 5+
Make sure that you have the latest software on your iOS device.
Make sure that your iOS device has Wi-Fi turned on.
Make sure your devices are connected to same network.
Reboot your iOS/Mac device.
Reboot your router.
Reboot your receiver device.

Q. Does AirPlayMirror Receiver support mirroring from Windows/Linux also?
A. No. The appliction supports mirroring/casting from Apple devices like an iPhone, iPad or a Mac. You can Download ScreenCast that support mirroring from Android Phone/Tablet, a Windows/Linux/Mac or Chromebook to the receiver device.

A. ScreenCast is Receiver Application for mirroring devices which support Miracast or Google cast sending.

Q. Can i mirror iPhone or iPad using ScreenCast Receiver App?
A. No, you cannot mirror iPhone or iPad to ScreenCast Receiver App. You would need to install AirPlayMirror Receiver App on the receiver device tp mirror iPhone or uPad.

A. Please check if your receiver and the sender devices are in same sub-network. If your wifi router supports dual band wifi, please check that receiver device and sender device are in the same band, as some wifi routers do not support mirroring across the two wifi bands.
